The Senior Years stamp set has some of the cutest images! This was the perfect image to compliment the “one hole bow” technique that I taught in Episode 17 of “Why Did I Buy This?” Check out the episode to learn how to do this “life changing” technique!
The linen ribbon in the Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack is a new favourite of mine. I love the weight and the width of this ribbon. It adds a perfect border over the Meadow Moments mini embossing folder.
I really wanted to give the lady a cute belt for her outfit. To do that, I stamped the image twice. I coloured the first image with Stampin’ Blends as seen here, and I cut out just the strip above her skirt on the second image to create the belt and glued it onto the first image using Multipurpose Glue. It’s subtle, but gives just a tiny bit of texture and detail to the image.
If you missed Episode 17 of “Why Did I Buy This?” be sure to catch the replay to learn all about ribbon and the tips & tricks to be successful incorporating it into your projects.
