Welcome to the Stamping Sunday blog hop! You have just arrived in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, and I am Lynsay Mahon. You can see the list of the design team members to hop along with today, by clicking on the blue button:
This month, our team is featuring products from the “Tropical Escape” suite! This suite is full of lush, tropical images and bright colours. I love the combo of the greens and the pinks!

My favourite part of the Suite is the Tropical Escape 6×6 Designer Series Paper. For only $15 CDN, you receive 48 sheets of double sided designer paper! It’s a great value and it really shows off the colour scheme beautifully. This is also one of the paper packs available in our July promotion “Buy 3, get 1 free” promotion! Buy 3 packs of designer series paper and receive 1 pack free!
The first project features the designer series paper as a mosaic background:
I embossed the greeting in Whisper White on Vellum Cardstock. I used the greeting to “hide” the adhesive on the back of the vellum, by applying the multipurpose adhesive on the reverse side of the letters. This ensures that you can adhere is without the adhesive showing through the vellum. The ribbon also helps to adhere the vellum layer.
The flower is fussy cut from the designer paper and popped up with a dimensional.
For my second project, I wanted to share a little gift idea using the new Petite Treat Thinlits Dies. I love how this die creates the perfect little treat pouch!
I used Tear & Tape adhesive to hold it together as it’s one of our strongest adhesives. I left the flap open so that it can easily be filled with treats, and used a gold binder clip to keep it closed.

Fun way to use designer paper for a background! And love that you used that bump on the die cut to create a flap on your container. So easy!
