Welcome to the Stamping Sunday Blog Hop! I’m Lynsay Mahon, from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Each month our team picks a theme to create our projects around. Hop along with the rest of the blogs to see more great paper crafting ideas!
This month our team is exploring the theme of “Holiday Happenings.” I used the Spruced Up Bundle to create my projects. This bundle has whimsical images and I love they way the dies cut out two images at one time (an outline and an interior piece).
The first project is a shaker card. I used the die to cut out the tree shape and then used the Effervescent Elements as the shaker elements.

This card is made with the subtle colours of Pool Party and Sahara Sand and the flocked background is made with the Snowflake 12×12 Specialty Vellum.

For the second project I made a gift card holder. The Peekaboo Treat Bags make a great bag for small treats.

I tried something different by using a Window Sheet as the base of the tag. In order to have the ability to write on it, I cut out a second tree to adhere to the back.
