Welcome to the Totally Techniques Blog Hop! I’m Lynsay, from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Each month our team chooses a technique and features our projects. This month, the technique is Split Front Technique. The idea is to split the card front so there is a cut out feature.
I LOVE the Daffodil Afternoon 12X12 Designers Series Paper (DSP). This Saleabration Reward is free with a $60 until Feb. 28, 2022. I wanted to let the paper do some of the heavy lifting on this project, so used the DSP as the split front.
This technique is a fun way to really draw the eye to the focal point of the card. I used the large and medium daisy punch to add the central focus.
I used the Expressions in Ink Ephemera Pack to add the gold details. I love how it elevates the card and makes it elegant.
