Welcome to the Stamping Sunday Blog Hop! I’m Lynsay Mahon, from Edmonton, Alberta Canada. Each month our team chooses Stampin’ Up! product to feature and showcases their take on the projects. This hop is a great way to see many talented crafters in action, so be sure to scroll through the blogs to see all of the projects.
Starting May 4, Stampin’ Up!’s new annual catalogue will be released! The “big book” is 176 pages of inspiration and product. As demonstrators, we get early access to a selection of the products. It was hard to choose which items to showcase here as there are SO many great things in this catalogue!
I decided to share with you a beautiful, 2-step floral stamp set called Color & Contour. This photopolymer set is an all occasion set with beautiful, scripted greetings that compliment the floral images.
The first project features the Color & Contour bundle that includes the stamp set and the Scalloped Contours Dies.

I used the new In Color Polished Pink! I love the new coordinating In Color projects such as the 2021-2023 In Color Jewels (stunning!) and the 3/8″ Open Weave Ribbon in Polished Pink.

One thing that’s fun to do is manipulate ribbon so it’s the width that you want. I needed the ribbon to be thinner to loop behind the flower as shown above.

I took my Stampin’ Snips and was able to split the ribbon into 3 pieces (the 2 solid pieces and the one mesh piece). This allowed nice thin strips to embellish the card.

For my second project, I wanted to showcase another new In Color called Evening Evergreen. This rich, dark green is so beautiful!

It works well with the Polished Pink as well as the Magenta Madness In Color carrying forward from last season.
There are lots of new packaging solutions in the new Annual Catalogue, and one that has come back from our Holiday Catalogue is the Mini Coffee Cups with the Warm Wraps Dies.

I used the new In Color Stampin’ Write Markers to colour directly to the stamp to be able to have the flower stem and petals be different colours. I added a touch of Wink of Stella over the petals to give it a beautiful shimmer.

Join me Sunday, May 2 at 10 am, 12 pm, 2 pm and 4 pm MT on my facebook page for lives showcasing more of my new favourite products!
Be sure to follow along with the rest of the blogs to be able to see more sneak peeks from the Annual Catalogue.

A lovely card, tag and treat in a mini-cup Lynsay – loving the way ‘Polished Pink’ looks with the white embossing powder! ‘Evening Evergreen’ is a fabulous addition to the greens S’U! already has! ~ C ~
