Welcome to the Stamping Sunday Blog Hop! I’m Lynsay Mahon, from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Each month our team shared projects featuring a product from Stampin’ Up!. This month, we were given free reign on the specialty papers in the current mini catalogue!
Specialty paper is so amazing to play with because it looks amazing before you even do anything to it! It’s sometimes hard to cut up and it’s definitely hard to decide which piece to use. Because I couldn’t decide, I opted to feature multiple pieces on my project to really showcase it’s beauty!
I layered strips of the Love You Always Specialty Designer Series Paper and the Love You Always Foil Sheets together to create the card front of this card.
It’s an easy way to let the paper do all of the work!!
The focal point of this project is a sneak peek for the upcoming Butterfly Bouquet suite! This early-release suite is available starting March 2, 2021. I love the detailed butterfly cuts and the ability to layer over a coordinating silhouette.
Using the same theme, I created a coordinating gift tag.
Look at how stunning that foil paper is with the butterfly cut out.
I added a few of the strips onto the Mini Paper Pumpkin gift box to coordinate the tag and the box. This is an easy way to dress up your gift giving!
I encourage you to pull out your specialty paper and don’t be afraid to cut it up! It’s an easy way to make your projects feel “next level.”
