This month our team chose Blending Brushes as a technique! I’m head over heals for this new tool to Stampin’ Up! It makes for flawless, even blending!
One of the things I love about this tool, is how easy it is to overlap colours in a way that the transition is blended well!
On this card, I used the Blending Brushes to create the rainbow background. I have found the best way to get even blending is to use the Stamparatus platform as a base. You can tap off the ink before blending it on the paper, ensuring you get even colour laid down. When you need more colour, you can grab the excess from the platform, making less waste of ink!
I made the raised paint swatches by using Shimmery Crystal Effects mixed with Ink Refill and painted onto Basic White Cardstock. Then I used the Beautiful Brushstrokes Dies to cut out the pieces and adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
This sentiment is so me! I need my sleep, so I can relate to wanting to be home by 9:00!
