Why Did I Buy This? Gilded Leafing

Episode 40 of “Why Did I Buy This?” featured a new product from our Spring Mini Catalogue called Gilded Leafing Embellishment. This loose, gold leaf is stunning and can be incorporated into projects in any way you have adhesive. On Episode 40, I showed a few different ways to use it! If you missed the live, you can catch the replay here.

On this project, I used Tear & Tape adhesive to add gold stripes onto the card. This layout was inspired by Jenni Pauli.

I used the Blending Brushes ( a new fav for me) to colour each panel. I love how bright and happy this card is.

I also used Heat & Stick powder to stamp onto the envelope flap. I added Gilded Leafing to the left side. On the right side I used Gold Stampin’ Emboss powder to show the difference between the two products.

You can see the Gilded Leafing has more texture than the Gold Stampin’ Emboss.

Have you tried the new Gilded Leafing yet? What’s your thoughts on it?
