During Episode 30 of “Why Did I Buy This?” featured one of my favourite embellishment products: Wink of Stella. This shimmer pen adds the perfect dusting of platinum shimmer to projects. My facebook live showcased a few additional ways to incorporate this into your projects.
One of the things that I wanted to create was sheer, shimmery clouds. To do this, I used Whisper White Craft Ink Refill picked up with the Wink of Stella brush. I sued that to mask the clouds onto the background. Once it dries, the effect of fluffy clouds.
I also used Pool Party Ink Refill to paint the soft blue ice-y look on the snow of the trees. Using the Wink of Stella brush to apply ink refill (both craft and classic), gives a soft, shimmery water-colour look.
I love how it really gives the dimension and look of snow. The Freezin’ Fun stamp set has adorable images with a coordinating die set called Freezin’ Friends Dies.
