Episode 30 of “Why Did I Buy This?” featured a product that is very beloved in my craft room: Wink of Stella. This glitter brush is perfect for adding a platinum sparkle to projects. It is great for a few different techniques! You can catch the episode replay here.
This project uses a technique that I call “Shimmer Blend.” I used the All Things Fabulous stamp set which has a detailed 3-step stamping process to get the layered looking flower. I inked all three stamps in the same ink colour. It really goes to show that you don’t need to have a ton of colours to complete a project!
Once I had the 3 ink layers, I used the Wink of Stella to blend the layers and add the perfect amount of shimmer. It’s subtle so hard to see in photos but it looks amazing in person.
It’s a fun to use your Wink of Stella in a different way!
