Welcome to the Totally Techniques Blog Hop! I’m Lynsay Mahon, from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Today our design team is featuring techniques using boxes.
Now I’m a huge fan of templated boxes, so I was excited to build my box using the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine and the Little Treat Box Dies. The Little Treats Box dies is fabulous because you can use a 6″ x 6″ piece of paper. This treat box is perfect with some of our designer series paper that is pre-cut to this size.
I pulled in the Whale of a Time 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper to cut out the box template. After I cut it out, I used my Water Painter and my Whisper White Craft Ink to splatter the paper, creating the effect of bubbles.
This template is so easy to assemble and requires very little adhesive. Check out the finished project.
I fussy cut out the small whale from the designer series paper to add to the treat box and added some ribbon to the top to hold it closed.
This would be a perfect favour for a party or a host. Just add a little chocolate and your guests will be wowed!
