The new Holiday Catalogue (August – December Mini Catalogue) by Stampin’ Up! is now live and there are SO many incredible craft supplies in it! Episode 21 of “Why Did I Buy This?” featured my 5 favourite products in this catalogue. You can watch the replay here.
One of the items that was SO spectacular was the new Plush Pointsettia Specialty Paper! This paper has 3 designs including poinsettia, holly and baroque swirls! And the best part? It’s flocked! This paper is so fuzzy, you’ll want to hug it.
The flocked part of the paper is white, so I was curious if it could be coloured. I filled a Stampin’ Spritzer with water and several drops of Rococo Rose Ink Refill and sprayed the paper until the flocked part was saturated with colour. The effect is stunning!

The vellum holds its colour, but the flocked part is dyed to perfectly coordinate with cardstock.

I love how it can also play into other themes outside of Christmas!

Have you found a new favourite product in the Holiday Mini Catalogue yet? Which ones are on your wish list?
Stay tuned for more holiday projects!! I’m on a roll! 😉
