It’s a little “gnome” fact that I love cute cards! So when I saw the Gnome for the Holidays stamp set in the new August-December Mini Catalogue, I was smitten! This is everything I love: cute images, punny greetings and great fonts!
I recently was in a card swap with a bunch of demonstrator friends, and of course, this was the set I reached for. I love how cute it looks coloured with our Stampin’ Blends. I felt that the gnome’s hat reminded me of the Snowflake Splendor suite, so I brought in the embossing folder and designer series paper from that collection. It made for a unique Christmas colour combo, but of love the look of the Purple Posy and Balmy Blue together.
The Balmy Blue Glimmer paper makes a great snowflake layer. The thrifty crafter will appreciate that you can get 2 cards from 1 snowflake – just cut it in half and you saved yourself some paper!
