Stamping Sunday Blog Hop Forever Greenery

Welcome to the Stamping Sunday Blog Hop! I’m Lynsay Mahon, from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. This month, we are exploring a very popular suite from the Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue called Forever Greenery.

This suite is elegant with it’s gold elements and detailed greenery!

I wanted to veer away from the traditional colour pallet with this suite. Instead of using different kinds of greens, I chose to bring in bold and bright colours to complete my projects.

I used designer series paper from the Playing With Patterns Suite and drew colour inspiration from there. I used Calypso Coral, Crushed Curry and Coastal Cabana. I love thinking outside the box with these images. It completely changes the feel of the Forever Fern stamp set.

I incorporated some of the Forever Gold Laser-cut Specialty Paper to add a bit of shine to the card!

The letters were cut out using our new Foam Adhesive Sheets and the Playful Alphabet. I love how you can use either the positive or negative layers to get a fun look. For my second project, you can see how I used the negative to create a belly band for a cute favour box.

The Forever gold Laser-cut Specialty Paper is so easy to layer to quickly complete a project.

Thinking outside the colour box for the Forever Greenery Suite made it come alive for me!
