I personally am extra fond of dogs. I’m a volunteer for an assistance dog charity in Edmonton called Dogs With Wings. I often make thank-you cards for the organization and have co-hosted an event called the “Flying Colours Craft Day” twice with funds going directly to the organization. For this card, I wanted the cat to be white (like a Persian), but I didn’t want to leave the cardstock naked white. I wanted it to feel like it had more dimension. I brought in my trusty light Pool Party Stampin’ Blend to add “low lights” where the shadows might appear on this kitty.
Don’t you just want to give that kitty a hug??
I used the Color Lifter to blend and soften the edges of the marker to help the white stand out. I’m really happy with the effect.
