During this time of self isolation, I’ve been busy reorganizing my craft room! It was a big job, but it is so fun to have my studio refreshed and ready to craft! Here’s a few pictures of my studio:
As I’ve been sorting, it occurred to me that many of you might have craft supplies in your collection and you’re not sure about what they do! As a craft professional for 17 years with Stampin’ Up!, I have seen a few tools in my day. It has prompted me to start a Facebook Live series called, “Why Did I Buy This?”
Today’s Facebook Live talked about a tool I can’t live without – Aqua Painters. The reason I pulled it out today is I’ve been making an effort to send cards to friends during this time of social isolation. And what better way to close an envelope than to use an Aqua Painter! This way, no germs!
Here are the projects I made on today’s Facebook Live using the Aqua Painter as the water-colour tool:
The first project uses Watercolor Pencils drawn directly onto Whisper White cardstock to add colour with the Aqua Painter.
My next project used the ink from creating a palette with our Stampin’ Up! ink pads and applying it with the Aqua Painter:
The third project uses reinkers with the Aqua Painter to colour the image:
For a detailed look at how these projects were made, visit my facebook page and watch the Facebook Live: “Why Did I Buy This?” Edition 2.
I hope you’ve been digging into your craft supplies! There’s nothing better for the mind and soul than to be creative during a time of uncertainty! I’ve been thoroughly enjoying crafting with you, even if it’s just by video for now.
Until next time!
