Welcome to the Stamping Sunday blog hop!  You have arrived in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and I’m Lynsay Mahon!  Thanks for joining us!  To see the list of the Stamping Sunday Team Members and continue hopping, click the blue button below:

This week’s featured projects are exciting because they preview new product suites in our soon to be released Holiday Catalogue!  Each team member was given the challenge to use products from their favourite suite.

It was hard to choose, as I have MANY favourites in this Holiday catalogue, but I decided to play with the Feels Like Frost suite.  I love the photo realism of the designer series paper, and the delicate snowflakes that are part of the Frosted Frames Dies.

I’ve layered my project in 3 parts to help the beginner crafter, the casual crafter and the avid crafter see how this suite could work for you!

My beginner project is very simple:

Feels Like Frost-004

This uses our pre-cut and scored note cards.  The designer series paper does most of the work in the background and I love the bold greeting on the front.  The beauty of this designer series paper is it is photo realistic on the one side, and then the other side is specialty with silver embossed images!  Its incredible!  You can see it peaking out on the end of the greeting on this card.

For the casual crafter, you’ll need to pull out your big shot and the Stitched Nested Labels dies from the Annual Catalogue to create this version:

Feels Like Frost-005

I’ve also added the Seaside Spray 1/4″ Metallic Ribbon to add a little pop of texture to the card.

For the avid crafter, I know you’ll want to grab the whole suite using the convenient “buy it all” item code (153474 gets you the whole suite for only $105.75 CDN).  Here’s what it looks like:

Feels Like Frost-006

I used the Frosted Frames dies and the Silver Glimmer paper to create the snowflake frame.  It wasn’t the exact size of the Stitched Nested Label, so I cut and shortened it before I layered it behind the label.  I finished off the card by accessorizing with the Frosted & Clear Epoxy Droplets from the Annual Catalogue.

I dressed up the Note Card Envelope by stamping the snowflakes from the Frosted Foliage stamp set in the coordinating Seaside Spray Ink:

Feels Like Frost Feature-001

You can see, whether it’s a quick and simple card, or an elaborate and layered card, this suite has it all!

Our team has such an incredible variety of products to share with you!  Be sure to click on the blue button below to keep hoping along:
