Welcome to the Stamping Sunday blog hop! You have just arrived in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, and I am Lynsay Mahon. You can see the list of the design team members to hop along with today, by clicking on the blue button:
This month our feature products varied a little bit! As we round into the last part of the Stampin’ Up! Occasions Catalogue, we wanted to ensure that we were giving some of our suites some of the love the deserve! We could choose any part of the Floral Romance suite, Piece of Cake Bundle or Beautifully Detailed Laser Cut Paper. I am completely enamoured with the Floral Romance suite so wanted to show you why!

My first project showcases how beautiful the Wonderful Romance stamp set is alone!
This is a perfect set for “Simple Stamping” as the detailed floral imagery does all of the work! For this card I used the big flower image and stamped repeatedly along the side of the Whisper White cardstock with Memento ink. The black and white imagery is striking and beautiful.
For the Casual Crafter, someone who likes to add a little more layer and technique to their projects, I stepped up this same template a little. After stamping the floral images, I used a blender pen, to blend the lines of the memento and give a grey scale kind of effect. I also added sequins and used the new Story Label Punch with vellum to give a little layering:
For the Avid Crafter, someone who has a lot of tools and loves to really step up their projects, I brought in some of my favourite colouring tools: Stampin’ Blends! I still wanted to keep the black and white theme, so used the the light and dark Smokey Slate, and light Basic Black Blends to give variety to the image. I wanted to add a splash of colour and brought in the Mango Melody with the Story Label punch. I love how this card came together:
Regardless of whether you are a new stamper with the basics of stamps, ink, and paper, or a seasoned veteran with many tools at your fingertips, the Wonderful Romance stamp set is going to be one to add to your collection!
