This month, our team is featuring Holiday Designer Series Paper. We have some gorgeous Holiday paper in this year’s Holiday Catalogue!
For my projects, I opted to work in the traditional colour palette, using the Specialty Designers Series Paper, Santa’s Workshop. I love this whole suite!
The Memories & More Card Pack in this Suite coordinates PERFECTLY with the Designer Series Paper and I was so excited to put together this card to showcase that:
The little elf is from the Designer Series Paper and can you see the fuzzy details on his hat?? So cute! The card base comes from the Santa’s Workshop Memories & More Cards & Envelopes set! These cards are perfectly sized for the Memories & More cards which make it so easy to put a card together.
At this time of year, I’m always looking for cute gift ideas for coaches, teachers and friends, and this is a great way to decorate a bunch of cards to gift!
This decorates an acetate box, which fits 5 cards and envelopes. Here’s how I put this together:
- Cut off the top flap of the acetate box and add Tear & Tape strips on both sides of the top and bottom of the box.
2. Cut 2 pieces of Santa’s Workshop Specialty Designer Series Paper (I used the fuzzy candy cane strips) at 6″x4.75″. Use the Layering Ovals Framelits to cut both sheets at the top to make the handle. Adhere the sheets to the acetate box with the Tear & Tape strips, being sure to line up the bottom of the paper with the bottom, so it stands up.
3. Add a piece of burlap ribbon to the oval at the top. Cut the flap off of a clear envelope and adhere it to the front of the bag using Tear & Tape.
Insert your greeting card of choice into the clear envelope! Here you can see I’ve used the Memories & More cards again, with the coordinating Designer Series Paper. This is a really cute way to wrap up a set of cards to gift to a friend!
