Watercoloring on cards is one of my favourite techniques. I guess, it makes me feel like an artist without all of the fuss of going to school.
I’ve heard from my class attendees that sometimes, watercoloring can be intimidating. If you’re one of those people, you’re going to love how easy this simple background technique is. The best part? No two look alike. So there really is no “right” or “wrong” way to do it!
Let me show you the cards that I created using this background technique. Both cards use a combination of the following re-inker colours:
The first one I made in honour of my anniversary! Not my anniversary to my lovely husband, but my Stampin’ Up! Anniversary! I’ve been a demonstrator for 14 years now. Time flies when you’re having fun! This card was inspired by UK Demonstrator Tracy May.
