Sometimes, you just need someone else to do all of the design, cutting and prep work before you can bust out a dozen cards! Stampin’ Up! has done the work for us with the 2017 Occasions Catalogue kit, “Birthday Bright”
This kit comes with all of the consumable materials to make 12 cards and 12 tags and all of it arrives in a beautiful, festive box for storage. Here are my completed versions:
Kits are meant to be simple so here’s a Project Kit Hack for you: On the “wish big” card, the instructions tell you to wrap the silver flags around the bakers twine and hang them off of the cards. This is time consuming and I’ve heard reports that the flags don’t stick overly well. Instead cut the pennant so that the “wrapper” part of the flag is cut off and you are just left with the pennant. Then you can just layer the sticker directly onto the card. Much faster and it sticks much better.
