Swirly Bird by Stampin’ Up!

The Swirly Bird stamp set and thinlits are one of the most versatile bundles in the Annual Catalogue!

I have been having tons of fun playing with this set.  The options are endless: birds, flowers, sailboats, water… a quick search on Pinterest and you will find an incredible offering of ideas, and it’s only been available for 2 weeks!

My card club got to play with this set for the first time last night, and we focused on the swirls to create a version of the flower card that is featured in the Annual Catalogue.  I’m in the mode of making thank-you cards for teachers and coaches, and this one will be perfect for those special people as we wrap up the school year.

We used the new Calypso Coral Ombre Stampin’ Pad to react the spectrum colour of the base of the flowers and then worked with 3 shades of pink/coral for the die-cuts.

I can’t wait to get my hands on the new Big Shot platform which significantly helps with the details thinlits such as these ones.
