This month, our featured suite is the Peaceful Poppies Suite.  This suite is especially close to my heart as my dear friend Kelly Entz and I are hosting a full day craft event in honour of my favourite charity, Dogs With Wings, using this suite!

I’ve been working a lot with this suite and I’m so excited to see what my fellow designers have created!

For my first project I wanted to share with you a card that was inspired by Kelly Entz.  This layout really caught my eye, and so I knew I wanted to use this beautiful suite with it.

I love how it allows the poppies to be the focal point and brings in some of the patterned Designer Series Paper.

The other project I wanted to work with is the new heart tin!  I’ve got a lot of thank-yous to make with regards to this event and so this was a fun one to design:

These little tins are adorable and so easy to dress up!  I think the people who have helped us get ready for the event will enjoy this little treat!
